Welcome to the UA Post-Doc listserv,
Postdoctoral research is essential to the scholarly mission of the University of Alaska and we hope this list will prove to be a valuable tool in achieving your goals.
The intention of this space is to share information that might be useful in this transitional stage where you are no longer a student but are becoming an independent scholar. We hope it will be a forum where ideas, resources, and support are exchanged.
We, the admins of the list, are specifically working to improve the opportunities and offerings at UA for our postdoctoral colleagues. This is your community, please ask questions for how to handle challenges or submit notices of networking or training opportunities. Use this list; we and the others here are a resource to assist you in being successful. If a less public forum is more comfortable, please feel free to contact the administrators (below) with any suggestions or concerns you would like to see addressed or information you would like to share.
Thank you for your time,
