WELCOME TO THE "RDMASTERS-L" DISCUSSION LIST:
An email discussion list for students, faculty, and staff in UAF's Rural Development Master's Degree Program
Welcome! This free email discussion list is for use by students and faculty in the UAF Rural Development M.A. degree program. We'll use this list to share information widely about the degree program, including academic requirements, course offerings, upcoming events, and exciting activities.
By using this listserv, you can easily broadcast email messages to all other students/subscribers with a single message.
As a student, you can use this list to share information about anything that is relevant to your fellow students and faculty/staff. Please use this list actively, but do so appropriately (many of us already receive too much email).
You choose whether or not to subscribe to this discussion list (see instructions below). There is no cost for subscribing, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Experience suggests that discussion lists are best for sharing brief bits of information on an occasional basis. Keep in mind that many subscribers already receive large amounts of email and probably don't want to be overloaded with more. If you have a message of interest only to a few people, please send it directly to those interested.
For more information about this discussion list, see the help menu or contact Crystal Frank, email@example.com
GUIDELINES FOR USE OF RDMASTERS-L
Since this discussion list is self-moderated, some guidelines are appropriate:
1. Topics should relate to the interests of Rural Development MA students, faculty, and staff. Items that are strictly for personal interest should be sent to individual email addresses. Messages of broader interest for all RD Masters and BA degree students, for example, should be sent to the list RURAL-L.
2. No commercial advertising is allowed.
3. All those posting items to the list should include a name and email address with their contributions.
CAUTION ABOUT USING "REPLY"
Be aware that if you use the "reply" command to respond to a message, *all* subscribers will receive your message.
If you want to reply to only one person, please use his/her personal address.
